Broughton Property Management have arranged a preferential block Landlords buildings and contents insurance policy through the auspices of Hanover Cadogan Park and AUL. We believe the cover and rates this policy allows us to offer our client landlords are both comprehensive and competitive.

Landlord's Buildings Policy

Features & Benefits

Covers the Buildings and/or Contents up to the sums insured for:

Normal insured perils: including fire; lightening; escape of water; theft or attempted theft; subsidence; malicious act; escape of oil; riot; etc.
Accidental damage to: underground service pipes & cables; fixed glass & double glazing; sanitary fixtures & ceramic hobs.
Loss of rent up to 20% of sum insured during a claim.
Increased water charges from escape of water due to insured perils.
Property owners liability of £2 million.

Exclusions, etc.

Unoccupancy of 30 days without change in cover.
Excess of £100 per claim.
Excess of £1000 for subsidence

Other endorsements may apply in cases of adverse claims history.

Buildings cover - fixed price of £1.40/£1,000 +5% IPT
Contents cover - fixed price of £8.25/£1,000 +5% IPT
